With 4.5dBi gain, this medium gain antenna whip is a great all round performing antenna. The elliptical radiation pattern is more rounded compared to a high gain antenna and radiates further compared to a low gain antenna, making it ideal for medium range communication in various environments such as suburban landscapes, towns and low density woodlands.The 650mm antenna whip features a fibreglass mast which is weather sealed and fitted with a 5/16″ thread for easy removal. This antenna whip is ground dependent, so it is recommended to be mounted on an ground independent elevated feed base or ground plane for maximum performance.
